Selection of elements and display of context menus from a 3D scene

To Select an element from the Object Explorer click on it, as usual, or select an object, a slice, a contour , a dot set or a path  that is displayed in the 3D scene, directly from the 3D View. Click on the desired 3D element in the scene while pressing the Ctrl key. Alternatively, select the Pointer tool   from the Toolbar and then click the desired element on the 3D View.

The selected element is surrounded by a 3D box (see Figure 1) and it is automatically selected in the Object Explorer.

A similar procedure can be followed to display a context menu with options that apply to a specific element of the scene. In Figure 1, the context menu of an object named “rele9” is displayed. To show the context menu of an element, right click on the desired 3D element in the scene while pressing the Ctrl key. Alternatively, select the Pointer tool   from the Toolbar and then right click the desired element on the 3D View.
