Copy/Paste contour and dot set

To copy a contour or a dot set, right click on the selected contour or dot set in the Object Explorer and select Copy from the context menu. Alternatively, use the standard Ctrl-C. Once a contour or dot set is copied, paste it on any object of the same slice, or a different one.

To paste a contour or a dot set, open the slice where the contour or dot set is to be pasted. In the Object Explorer, right click on the object where the contour or dot set is to be pasted and select Paste from the context menu. Alternatively, select the object in the Object Explorer and use Ctrl-V to paste the contour or dot set on the selected object. If an object is not selected, the paste option will add the contour or dot set to the same object it was copied from.

Immediately after a contour or a dot set is pasted, a dotted surrounding rectangle will indicate that the contour or dot set can be dragged with the mouse to the position that best fits the slice. To move the contour or dot set, click inside the rectangle and move the mouse while keeping the left button pressed. To quit the move mode, simply click outside the rectangle, or press Esc.

Once a contour has been positioned in a slice, it can be adapted to the underlying image of the slice by editing it manually or automatically using the Fit Contour to Image tool.
