Resize the mosaic area

The mosaic area is the rectangular region where the image of a slice is composed. By default BioVis3D assigns to each slice a mosaic area that equals the size of one of the images that comprises the slice. The default mosaic area works fine for slices composed of one single image, but it may be necessary to enlarge it for composite slices. Figure 1 shows the mosaic view of a slice before and after resizing the mosaic area.

To resize the mosaic area, make sure the mosaic tool is active. Then simply drag the edge of the mosaic area, similarly to the way a window is rezised.
