The relative order of the images that compose a mosaic can be modified in order to control the
way they overlap. There are four operations available to arrange mosaic images.
Front: moves the selected image to the front.
Back: moves the selected image to the back.
Forward: moves the selected image one position to the front.
Backward: moves the selected image one position to the back.
To apply any
of these operations, make sure the mosaic tool
is active and select the image whose position is to be modified by clicking
on it. Select more images by clicking on each of them while pressing
Shift. The selected images are shown with a surrounding red box
as depicted in Figure 1. To apply the desired operation, select it from the Mosaic
main menu, or from the context menu that appears when right clicking on a
selected image. Figure 1 shows the effect of bringing an image to front.
